 | | Craig Huggins
Nickname: Huggy. It used to be “Rock” when I played footy at Full Back… ‘Rock of Gilbralter’.
Star sign: Virgo, the teaser!
Favourite Haunts: I can often be seen in the kids section at the local video store, or at the pizza joint on the way home from the video store!
Favourite CD: Ripper ’76… not the music, just the cover.
Favourite Movie: ‘Notting Hill’... yeah, I know it’s a chick-flick, but I’m a softy at heart
Favourite Song: “Heatwave” by Martha and the Vandellas
Favourite TV Show: Survivor
Favourite Sports Team: The Australian Cricket team
Next book you want to read: I would love to master the street directory
Where in Adelaide would you take visitors: On a day trip to Hahndorf. It's not too far out of town and the historic scenery and European influences are more than interesting... not a bad beer there either!
Current Screen Saver: My little Corgi named Tuska, whom I lost a couple of years ago, and I still miss
Best Adelaide moment: I raced in the 1986 Celebrity Race at the Grand Prix, it was awesome. Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits broke his collarbone in a smash at the first turn.
Describe your ideal Sunday: Be woken at 9am by my kids, a latte at a café overlooking the smokin’ waves I’ll catch later in the day. Pizza for tea.
Your Favourite drink: Chocolate Milk
List six dinner guests: My wife Jenni, my best mate Webby, Enzo the concreter, Paul the plumber, Darren the sparky, and Sid the builder… there’s some genuine need for renovations at my place!
If I didn't work in radio, I'd work as: An AFL player. I did have to make that choice years ago. Ironically by now I’d be retired from footy and working on radio as it seems to be a pre-requisite at some stations.
Three words to best describe Adelaide: Intimate, relaxing, and exciting.
