Bruce Willis Says 'Die Hard' Isn't A Christmas Movie
For years, we thought one thing was absolutely true: Die Hard was in the same category as It’s a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th Street and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
A Christmas classic.
The festive deccos, THAT Santa hat, even Die Hard’s screenwriter Steven E. de Souza, without hesitation, says it’s a Christmas movie.
But, in news that’s nothing short of unsettling,Willis has declared that Die Hard is not, in fact, a Christmas movie.
The shocking announcement was made during the taping of Comedy Central’s roast of Willis, which is yet to air, according to Entertainment Weekly.
While it’s easy to write-off the comment as being tongue-in-cheek - it was during a roast – Willis’ management is reportedly yet to confirm or clarify.
So as the world waits, people like de Souza continue to placate fans with the argument that Die Hard is, indeed, a Christmas movie, going as far as providing this handy chart:

Here’s what the internet had to say:
Having a #Christmas get together? Break out a #Santa hat and put it on the corner of the TV. Put in a #classic Christmas movie, like #DieHard, the penacle of Christmas movies!
