Iman Opens Up For First Time Since David Bowie's Death
It has been a year of mourning for Iman, first losing her husband David Bowie in January and then coming to terms with the passing of her mother just three months later.
But the supermodel put on a brave face to make her first public appearance at the Tom Ford show at New York Fashion Week last night.
Speaking to Good Morning America, Iman admitted that 2016 has been a hard year.
"It's just been a tough year, but I'm holding up," Iman said.
Iman also revealed she still keeps David close to her heart - both figuratively and literally.
She has a beautiful custom made necklace that reads 'David' that she wears always.
"I'm wearing this until my death. [Fashion designer] Hedi Slimane made it for me," she said, showing off the piece of jewellry.
"It just says 'David'."
Iman also documented the night on Instagram, stating it was the first event she has attended since last year.
Rubbing shoulders with the fashion elite, Iman also managed to snap a pic with her close friend and fellow model of the 90s Cindy Crawford.
