Good News For David Bowie Fans
It looks as though we may not have heard the last from David Bowie, as negotiations are in progress to release previously unheard tracks from the late music icon.
On his birthday, just two days before his death, Bowie had released his critically acclaimed 26th album, Blackstar.
According to the late star's friend and longtime producer Tony Visconti, Bowie had started work on 'one more final album' in his last weeks - but adding that final record Blackstar was his 'parting gift' to the world.
Visconti confirmed he is in talks with Bowie's management to bring out previously unreleased tracks.
"I haven't heard those songs yet," he admitted to Britain's Evening Standard newspaper.
"I might actually have to help his managerial company to find them. I have an idea where he might have recorded them, but there is also a lot of unreleased material from many albums.
"I think it's logical that over the next few years, you're going to hear a lot of stuff that you haven't heard before. I'm in talks with his management and his label - there's going to be some great Bowie stuff coming out."
