WHEN IT COMES TO SHOWS, GLUTTONY IS PUTTING ON QUITE A SPREAD, WITH MORE THAN 108 ACTS THIS YEAR.
Satisfy your hunger for theatre, cabaret, circus, magic, dance, visual arts, children’s entertainment and comedy – Gluttony’s got something for all tastes, from weekend shows for the whole family to late night laughs. Check out the show listings here.
You can hit the d-floor every Friday and Saturday night from 9pm in Gluttony’s Silent Disco – just chuck on some headphones, grab a drink from the disco’s bar and take your pick from three channels of music, one mixed live by a DJ. Sunday afternoons from 1pm sees the Silent Disco become a little more family-friendly, with kids’ tunes, cheesy pop and a more grown-up selection. Our Silent Disco was featured in the film 52 Tuesdays, and we think that’s pretty cool, just quietly.
Gluttony is set in the beautiful surrounds of Rymill Park.
Eight performance venues – The Octagon, The Peacock, The Empyrean, Spiegel Zelt, The Speakeasy, The Bally, La Petite Grande and The Piglet - are nestled within Gluttony’s leafy bounds, ranging from the large and lively to the intimate and atmospheric.
In addition to the dozens of diverse Fringe acts performing within Gluttony, there’s delicious food, fine wines, local beer and top-shelf spirits on offer at this open-air party in the park.
Meet, watch, listen, dance, laugh, think, play, lounge, chat… or just get carried away by Gluttony’s relaxed and quirky vibe.
Event times: 11am Saturdays and Sundays (and Monday 13 March), from 3pm Fridays, and from 4.30pm Tuesday-Thursday, until late every night.
