Adelaide Has A New Festival With Ribs, Beer, Wine And Cars
“Hey mate, name your five favourite things and we’ll make a festival out of them.”
“Alright… rock music, beer, red wine, vintage cars and BBQ meat.”
“Done. Let’s call it RED, ROCK AND RIBS”.
And so it was born.
On Saturday 22nd and Sunday June 23rd, Morphettville Racecourse will put on a celebration of rock music, red wine, craft beer, vintage cars and mouth-watering BBQ, known as 'red, rock and ribs'.
Over 60 wineries and craft breweries will be featured in the ‘Cosy Cellar Door Precinct’ offering tastings - the area will feature the likes of Prancing Pony Brewery, Peter Lehmann and Taylors.
One of the highlights of the two-day event will be a Fire Side BBQ competition, bringing together over 40 teams to battle it out for national honours.
Attendees will enjoy workshops, masterclasses and tastings with some of the world’s biggest names in BBQ.
For the rev heads, there will be over 400 classic cars and other vintage vehicles on show plus live entrainment over the weekend with some of Adelaide’s best bands - The Flaming Sambucas, Mr Buzzy, Clearway and more!
Tickets are $30 for adults, with everyone under 18 free!
