Pitchforks Sharpened Over Extra Half Hour Of Kids TV On ABC

The thing about parents of young children is that you learn pretty quick not to mess with routines.

Which is why whenever a change is made to children's TV programming, we hold our collective breath.

On Tuesday, an announcement on the ABC Kids for Parents Facebook page was no different.

Parents haven't gone bonks over the axing of a show, but an extra half hour of children's programming.

And the extended programming isn't just for summer -  it's been confirmed as a permanent change, and parents are feeling the fury.

And, of course, some that were totally fine with it...

ABC Kids’ extended programming hours will air from 5am to 7.30pm starting December 4.
