Two serious accidents this afternoon with major delays
Police and Emergency Services are at the scene of a serious crash on Marion Road after a car hit a stobie pole.
The crash occurred just before 12.30pm on Friday afternoon near the intersection of Marion Road and Finnis Street.
The driver of the car is being treated at the scene for serious injuries.
Police are diverting traffic around the crash site, expect long delays for north bound traffic if driving in the area.
UPDATE: Police expect significant delays all afternoon with the stobie pole needing to be replaced. Go a different way if you can.
Meanwhile, a car has collided with the tram stop outside the Royal Adelaide Hospital. two people required hospitalisation - the driver and a bystander .
There are currently no trams running between the hospital and the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

A man in his sixties is at the RAH with head injuries and a woman is at QEH is in a stable condition.
