Elderly Melbourne Couple Accidentally Sign For Drug Package
An elderly couple from melbourne accidentally signed for a 20kg parcel full of methylamphetamine (ice).
The package, which was mistakenly sent to them, contained drugs with an estimated street value of $10 million.
The couple became aware of the mistake and contacted police.
As a result, detectives executed a warrant for a house in a neighbouring suburb after another similarly sized package was located.
A 21-year-old man was arrested and he is currently being interviewed in relation to importing and trafficking drugs.
The investigation is ongoing.
