Official Announcement Regarding Reports Of A Royal Death
Buckingham Palace are expected to hold a staff meeting later this morning following a flurry of reports of a Royal death.
Rumours that all Palace staff had been summoned to an emergency meeting due to take place at three o'clock on Thursday morning (GMT) began circulating just after 10 o'clock AEST, followed swiftly by reports that the Royal residence's flag was flying at half-mast.
Despite speculation that the news was regarding either Queen Elizabeth II or Prince Philip's well-being, the BBC were able to confirm that the gathering had nothing to do with their health.

Juliet Rieden, editor of The Australian Women's Weekly, told us that such meetings were normal.
"The Lord Chamberlain holds all staff meetings for the Royal household once or twice a year, so it is not unprecedented for the whole team to come together for a morning meeting," Ms Rieden said.
"I suspect at this one there will be an announcement involving matters that affect the Royal household, possibly changes which may involve the Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen.
"But hysteria regarding possible death announcements are just that, hysteria."
More as we get it.
