If You Wondered Why Traffic Was At A Standstill This Morning
Traffic was at a standstill this morning after a train broke down on the southbound track this morning. Just after 7:45am boom gates at Curtis Road were down and stayed put for almost an hour.
Trains also came to a standstill on the Gawler for half an hour this morning.
Commuters weren't happy taking to social media to question the lack of communication.
One user wrote: 'When you cancel a train, you may want to... I don't know, make an announcement at affected stations or something?'
Another also asked Adelaide Metro to reimburse him for his ticket after having to make the trip in by car to ensure he wasn't late.
