With little to do in the African jungle - except, perhaps, learn how to crochet with champion swimmer Lisa Curry - it's inevitable that talk around the campfire eventually turns to things like feelings, relationship histories and Pauling Hanson.
So we've been waiting to see if model Kris Smith would open up about his ex, our own Dannii Minogue and mother of his six-year-old son Ethan, during his time in the camp - and it didn't take long.
On Sunday night's episode, the 38-year-old Brit told his fellow I'm A Celebrity contestants that he was "really fortunate" to have found her and that they are still on good terms.
"My ex-girlfriend [is] a wonderful woman," he said. "We talk about Ethan. We won't ring each other up and say 'I'm in town, do you want a coffee', [it's] all Ethan-based.
"That's one thing I've been really, really fortunate about. She's never, you know you hear people that will use kids as leverage in break-ups.
"She's never been anything but accommodating. I'm very fortunate on that."
Kris also revealed that the reason he's still single is his insecurity, stemming from a lack of self-esteem as a kid.
"I never believed I was good enough," he revealed. "I would never let people get too close, I would push them away before they would hurt me. I would never give them an honest chance to really know me.
He continued: "I was really short and heavy as a kid. I always still see that. With age and growing up, I always had that little demon in my head that I was still that little fad kid. It's probably ruined a lot of my relationships.
"I was insecure with people, jealous of what they did and said. I never valued myself. I never thought I was good enough for anyone."
Maybe Nazeem needs to give Kris a pep talk?
