Police investigating targeted stabbing in Adelaide's suburbs

Police are investigating a stabbing incident at Pooraka on monday morning.

About 12.30am on Monday 6 May a man had returned to his Montague Road home when a car containing four men pulled up outside. Three men got out of the car and approached the victim, with one suspect stabbing the man in the shoulder.

The victim ran off but was followed by the men who attacked him a second time, stabbing him in the back and assaulting him with a wrench. The men then drove off.

The victim returned home and was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital by family. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

Police do not believe this to be a random incident.
