Bruce Springsteen has followed up his recent announcement of a new album with the single, Hello Sunshine.
Western Stars will be the first studio offering from The Boss in five years, the last being 2014’s High Hopes and includes stuff that was written around the same time as 2012’s Wrecking Ball.
But it’s not like the tracks didn’t make the cut back then, rather they were waiting for their moment.
“Good music doesn’t go away,” Springsteen said.
As for the new album’s sound, Rolling Stone calls it “nostalgic” and having “supreme mellowness”.
But, until it’s released on June 14, have a listen to Hello Sunshine.
