Last month, Pink was the subject of much online chatter surrounding her weight when she appeared at an event in a dress that many deemed unflattering.

The singer wore a black dress to the John Wayne Odyssey Ball in April and was met with criticism from social media users, and at the time she hit back via Twitter to defend herself.

Now, Pink has spoken out even further about the issue of body shaming and internet bullying- and they’re fighting words!
At the BMI Pop Awards this week, the singer told Entertainment Awards that she “doesn’t take well to bullying”.
“I never have,” she said. “I’m not a person that will be bullied. I’m not a person that will stand by watching other people bullied.
“People think I take no sh*t and I’m tough, tougher than nails – but I’m a human being.”
When it comes down to it, Pink is happy with who she is, she loves to eat, and that’s all that matters to her.
“I think people have gotten it wrong,” she continued. “They think their opinion matters and holds weight, and I don’t know where or why they’re giving themselves so much credit, you know?
“So I thought it was important for me to remind them that I don’t care. My life is full, I like food a lot, and I really like to cook. I like to live. I find joy in that.”
Go Pink!
