Russell Crowe has walked away with the ‘Best Actor In A Limited Series Or Movie Made For Television’ gong at the Golden Globes for his superb work in ‘The Loudest Voice’.
Unfortunately, the actor was unable to accept his award due to the devastating bushfires hitting Australia.
As a result, he offered a statement about climate change, read out by Jennifer Aniston.
“Make no mistake. The tragedy unfolding in Australia is climate change-based,” Aniston read out.
“We need to act based on science, move our global workforce to renewable energy and respect our planet for the unique and amazing place it is.”
