Former 90210 star Shannen Doherty, 47, has told Good Morning America how ‘excited’ she is to be in remission after her two year cancer battle.

While out promoting her new Lifetime movie No One Would Tell, Doherty spoke with GMA host Robin Roberts about finally finding out she was in remission following a two-year fight.

Shannen revealed that while being obviously ecstatic that she will make a full recovery, she then didn’t quite know what to do with herself.

‘You hear the word remission, and it’s a rush of different emotions, right? It’s like, What’s next? There’s a little bit of fear and apprehension,’

‘I felt lost for a second. I was like, Now what? My whole life has been about this battle, what felt like my whole life.’

Doherty spoke of how returning to a ‘normal’ life was at first hard to comprehend after such an arduous two years.

‘But then it sort of starts seeping in, and then you get joyous, and you get so excited, but you got to wait for that five-year mark, and then the 10-year mark, so remission is a crazy word to me.’

Doherty first announced she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.
