Ohio University have just installed a bacon vending machine.
That’s it, that’s the story and we can all go home.
The vending machine dispenses cooked, ready-to-eat bacon either in strips or in handfuls of bacon bites.
Strips are $1 each, the proceeds of which go to the university’s meat science program at the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences as a way to promote the local pork industry.
If, like me, this is a legit enough reason to enrol in the school, you might want to hold fire, the machine is only sticking around until December 13. Sorry.
