Holy dooley, White Christmas Margaritas are a thing and YUMMMMMMO!

If you’re looking for a drink that’s part DELISH and part festive, than these are for you.

These margaritas contain the obvious tequila, with the addition of grand marnier, lime juice and COCONUT – lots and lots of coconut. Cream, milk, rum and extract.

After one taste, you’ll feel like all your christmases have come at once and feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Delish have put out a gorge video with a how-to and ingredients but the guys at How Sweet Eats (see below) also have a divine version.

300ml silver tequila
235ml grand marnier
235ml lime juice
235ml coconut water
235ml canned coconut milk
235ml coconut cream
235ml coconut rum
175ml simple syrup
1 teaspoon coconut extract, if desired
for garnish: sprigs of rosemary or mint and fresh cranberries or cherries + sanding sugar for the rim


Mix all ingredients together well by whisking.

(If desired, you can add 1 to 2 teaspoons of coconut extract for more islandy coconut flavor!)

Taste and add more syrup if you’d like more sweetness.

Note: to make the simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water (like 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water) in a saucepan over medium heat.

Whisk constantly until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil, then remove from heat and let cool completely.
