Roll up, roll up, get your paper tickets to leave Adelaide Airport!
Those flying into the great state of SA are a little confused as they’re given ‘Admit One’ paper tickets in the airport.
As part of another security step, police are giving out the old school paper tickets to confirm the traveller is allowed to be in the airport and permitted into SA.

Despite the apps and paperwork, entry at the airport into South Australia in the age of COVID-19 came down to being issued with a Made in NZ ‘Admit One’ ticket. Like the movies. In the old days 😂 pic.twitter.com/ULZQKL2nWV

Travellers in the airport walking around are able to present the circus-like tickets to authorities when asked and when going through checkpoints.
“Travellers hold on to the ticket while transiting through the airport so if they are challenged by anyone, they have proof that they have officially been processed and just need to produce that ticket,” a police spokeswoman said.

The tickets have been compared to going to the movies, getting a ticket in the meat tray and circus admission.
