Residents of Osborne and its neighbouring suburbs in Adelaide’s north-west are being advised to stay inside with doors and windows closed due to smoke.
The MFS are currently fighting a waste/rubbish fire at the old Penrice Soda site in Osborne.
It has caused smoke to drift across Osborne and surrounding suburbs.
The MFS released a statement just before 6am on Friday with advise for residents in the vicinity of the fire.
“Residents are advised to remain inside and keep doors and windows closed,” the statement read.
UPDATE 7am: The fire has been contained but the smouldering rubbish means the warning for residents remains in place.
