With Covid-19 transmission being at the front of everyone’s minds, the clearance for Collingwood to enter South Australia has caused quite the stir. But chief public health officer Nicola Spurrier has given some health advice for those heading to the game.

Late Tuesday, Collingwood was granted an exemption to fly into South Australia for their game against the Adelaide Crows this weekend’s clash. The news wasn’t received warmly by the public as the anxiety of the Victorian outbreak continues to grow.

Speaking on 7 News, Nicola Spurrier has provided some advice for those heading to the game on the weekend. “Sometimes the ball, not that I’ve been to many football games, I have noticed occasionally it gets kicked into the crowd. My advice to you is to duck and just do not touch that ball,” she said.

Though Spurrier’s advice was of good nature, many are finding it quite funny and don’t know if they should be taking it seriously.
