Myer’s Tea Tree Plaza store will be reopened to foot traffic on a trial basis from this Saturday.

The department store closed its 60 stores across the country at the end of March, with around 10,000 staff members stood down in the process.

Stores’ reopening will be rolled out on a staged basis, with the Modbury store among eight nationwide that will be opening its doors from this Saturday.

The news comes after several retailers announced that they will be reopening their doors in South Australia, including the Rundle Mall Apple Store which saw long queues gather outside its doors.

Myer Rundle Mall will continue to operate its click-and-collect service for the time being, while the Marion store will be reopened at a later date.
