South Australia is being warned to expect its most dangerous bushfire conditions since the devastating 2019/2020 summer.
Residents in the Mount Lofty Ranges are being warned to be on high alert today and tomorrow.
Those in the North West Pastoral district and the West Coast district are also being warned of a very high fire danger today.
Those warnings will spread further on Tuesday, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting thunderstorms and strong winds across the state.
Adelaide is heading for summer-like maximum temperatures with an expected maximum of 36 degrees on Tuesday before thunderstorms set in across the city.
The temperature will drop after Tuesday, but the strong winds are predicted to continue into Wednesday.
