Tim Burton’s highly-anticipated sequel to Beetlejuice, featuring Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder, has debuted its teaser trailer.

Titled Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the film marks a long-awaited return to the eerie world Burton created in 1988. Set for a September release, the sequel sees Keaton reprising his role as the mischievous Beetlejuice, alongside returning cast members Ryder and Catherine O’Hara.

Newcomer Jenna Ortega joins the fray as Astrid Deetz, while Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe, and Justin Theroux round out the ensemble in new roles.

The storyline revolves around three generations of the Deetz family returning home to Winter Rive after a family tragedy. When Lydia’s daughter, Astrid, discovers a mysterious model town in the attic, chaos ensues as the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened. With trouble brewing in both realms, Beetlejuice’s return becomes inevitable, promising his trademark mischief and mayhem.

Written by Alfred Gough, Miles Millar, and Seth Grahame-Smith, the sequel builds on the iconic characters crafted by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson, offering fans a fresh twist on the beloved tale.
